Collection: Words from a Wild Woman

This collection was created in memory of my mom, Cindy, a wildly wonderful woman. A wonderfully wild woman. She would appreciate that turn of phrase; I could hear her laughter as I wrote it. And that is the purpose of this art. To feel a bit closer to her. A bit more connected. To bring her back to me.

I am grasping at memories; I miss her voice, and her laughter, and her loud singing, and her random yelling of phrases. I miss her presence and her wise words and her all around goofiness. Some of these phrases are well known, some she created, and some are pulled from her favorite songs, of which she sang loudly along to. Others are from emails, and letters, and texts. Portrayed in childlike lettering and whimsical paint strokes, using her favorite colors: all of them. I hope you enjoy this small window into my memory of her.
